Happy Easter Nikolay! Gorgeous work, I have seen the Orthodox Easter festivities here among Russian and Ukrainian friends. And have eaten the many wonderful foods including pashka and babka. I have not however, seen it displayed so beautifully, so thank you for that!

This is gorgeous! I received an Easter Greeting from Moscow that was deliciously touching and seeing this brings that all back. Hopefully I'm in Russia by next Easter! As for this shot, it's beautiful in so many different ways and it's not your "typical" Easter shot. Also, just so you'll know, I happen to really like paskha, though I don't know how to make it.

Yes, from what I know of E. European food, this is very E. European, and I've had pashka before. (Does the word relate to Paschal, of Easter? I don't know, but it would make sense.) A very gentle shot, and it's mouth watering too.
