Description

This picture was taken from the Rocher de Monaco, the 60m high and 800m long outcrop, the location of Monaco Ville and Prince's Palace. The view is toward the North and shows the Port de Monaco, Monaco in the center, Monte Carlo toward the right (the round structure of the Hotel de Paris and to the right of it the Casino and the Casino gardens). On the left, partially hidden behind the trees is Beausoleil (in France) and the horizontal line near the top of the mountains is Route de la Moyenne Corniche. This picture was taken on 10 July 2007. Technically speaking, that is a cool shot. But the place is so crowded, no elbow room. The marina is scary, all those boats almost on top of each other....
