Description

Taken on the same day as the shot yesterday from Blenheim Palace.. For those who asked or who wanted to know about the new Grandchild we were all expecting this week.. Looks as if we may have to wait until the 1st of May as the C section was delayed as the baby's head was now in the correct position for a normal delivery.. Thanks you guys for taking an interest felt good to know am among so many friends here.. So will be on tenterhooks until then!! Thanks for taking time to view and any comments etc you care to make

Oh, I was expecting architecture from the title and what a delightful surprise to see this! Gorgeous composition, just perfect, and those beautiful soft blues in that sky! Best of luck with the new grandchild and fingers crossed about the timing!

This was the way with my last child. She was wrong side and I was facing a C section - scared. But 2 weeks before the due date, while sitting at the dinner table, that huge child decided to turn! I didn't have to say a word - everyone at the table knew as my belly when from big in front to flat but grew wider than the back end of an semi-truck! And talk about agony as she flipped sideways into the right position! Through my tears I thanked mother nature for looking out for me - no C section! And she was born exactly on the day she was due 2 weeks later - all 9 pounds of her! So, back to the subject... :-) I love this shot. It reminds me of the foothills here in the late spring when things are browning and turning the color of the golden bear - our state's mascot. Such compelling beauty in this shot.

This technically as always is a great photo. But I'm not sure about the POV you have chosen, for me it just does not work.
