Such a wonderfully powerful abstract, Ana. I love the contrasts of shape and value. This reminds me of a theatrical performance, dancers on stage. Really great work.

its wonderful, ana! the figure grabs my eye, while it looks alive and in movement, the static blocks leave an impression of compulsions, enforcements to me. but it leaves room for other interpretations as well, i love your china-ink drawings :)))

This is most definitely eye-catching. Very inviting. You're pulled right into this, more from the sense of dancing motion and the way that the various forms have a playful relationship with each other. I love the subtle grades of gray in this, perfectly balancing the black and white, giving it a great sense of warmth. I like that because it subtleties are what art is often about, and this has subtlety galore. Fantastic work.

Speaking of subtlety....it's a bummer I can't see all the subtelty that I know this piece has because it's transference to digital....But even in it's "altered" state it is still quite striking.... Reminds me of icecubes in an infinite glass....and spirits rising out of the glass to be imbibed by the viewer....My favorite areas are the grey areas....where much can be interpreted and experienced in the shadow regions.....Very interesting and thought provoking work!!!! Wish I could see it outside of digital!!!!! Have a beautiful day!!!!!!!
