Description

Well, Thursday morning there was a last second decision to go to the Hollow for a few days, so there was no time to notify anyone. Stuff got thrown willy-nilly into the truck, fingers crossed that all the necessities were included, and off we went. It all happened so fast that even the Hollow dwellers were caught unawares. Stuff got quickly thrown from the truck into the camper, and the food put away. I had business to attend to, grins. So, Camera in hand, Murphy and I took off for the first of many walkabouts. Now, I've always suspected that things were going on at the Hollow, but everyone pooh-poohed me. Now I have evidence! And STILL my husband says it's all in my head! The photo was taken Friday, April 17, even though it looks like a late fall picture. Spring comes very slowly to the Hollow. There were a few more things in bloom, and I'll post those too, maybe later this week. Both the dragon and the cute fae can be found at Vampi's free stuff, right here on 'rosity. Just so you know the truth, she actually snapped the pics out at the Hollow took them into Poser, and did her magic .. grins. The photo, as it sits here, was snapped at the Hollow .. and here you see the original cute little fae and dragon before they were "posed". Trust me, it's true. Big Grin. Totally loved reading all the comments on "The Blues". You guys always leave the neatest comments! Each and every one, read and savored, and treasured. Thank you for all the faves, between the wonderful comments and all the faves, my ego is being quite happy! Gotta spend some time in the galleries now, catching up with all the wonderful art I've missed!

Mapping outer space into a hollow earth What could be more beautiful than this lovely scene near an old wise hallow trunk? We can lick all of our ten fingers separately and be quite happy to see the sleeping dragon and the cute pixie who does a short intermediate landing on her flight to Peter Pan. Here in this imaginative picture, the three elements are very carefully brought together; and now it is a beautiful sight were everything is equal and also very well balanced. Never the less, a tranquillity of the very specific strain is thus created. A celestial peace without any ruthless foot stepping or synallagmatic contracts. No, this is pure nature and grand magic at the same time. I whish I could be there too... at the hallow.

I love your Hollow images, they remind me a home I had some years ago where the land was rich in fields and forests, streams and rocks, leaves and deer. I can smell it!! [=

Quite cute, though it makes me want to avoid turning on the ol' bug zapper at night knowing I might fry one of them... or does it?!

This reminds me of the movie FairyTale: a True Story (1997). Based on an actual event when children took photos of fairies captured in their favorite places in England, causing quite a stir among some prominent adults. I'm convinced! I love the fairy's reflection in the water. What a gorgeous place the Hollow is, and it makes sense that there's more than the eye can see. Great composition and blending of images. Wonderful photo and story. : )

Oh Rita your magical hollow, how wonderful that fairies and magical dragons live there too. You must have the greatest walks with your dear Murphy in such an enchanting place. Fantasic scene, I love it, hugs Jane xx

Beautiful scenery, great photo. I hate fairies, that's why I don't comment any of your work with them, but this place is really beautiful (without them). Dragon is OK, I guess ;-)

aside from the enchanted figures (which you blend-in very sweetly), the photograph itself is luminous. Really nice lighting from above, a nice cavern of shadow under the tree, and you wove your mythic creatures into the scene with your usual deft hand. Really nice Rita, very enchanted!
