This is my first photo-montage in photoshop. Please, help me with your comments. The tree looks not so good especialy the roots. Is there someone who could advice me? Thanks.

...damn nice work. Whats wrong with the tree, trees in background and even with that house, is contrast. Colors are bit flat, you need to add shadows. Use auto-levels or(and) play with levels settings until it looks right. And with soft eraser, soften edges of those roots. This is gonna be killer pic.
