This is a tornado reflection....They have always fascinated me..
The movie "Twister" from 1996, and documentary on Discovery channel, made it even worse.#:o)
My romantic relationship with tornadoes, is of course, caused by the fact..
That i live in a country where we never really felt nature catastrophies.
I guess i could learn to hate tornadoes, if they ever tried to kill me. #:o)
I do understand if my U.S friends from the mid west hate them...
If i remember correctly... a few of them live in tornado alley.
I know how they ruin people's lives in the U.S... make people homeless.. take everything they ever
had.. kill people, and demolish whole cities and trailer-parks..
But still...i feel that tornadoes are a paradox...
Because... They are beautiful and fascinating... They are ugly and traitorous...
They are scary, murderous and honor-frightening..And so on.... a true paradox.
A power so great... that nothing or noone can stop it....That is also a paradox for mankind.....
"Man" still believes, that he is "master of the universe". #;oD
But truely..he is nothing but an insignificant little boogie man.
Not even a close match.. for the powers of mother nature.
I guess i kinda share my feelings about tornadoes... with "Storm chasers".
If i lived in the US instead of Denmark..I would probably be a "Storm chaser". #;oD
I have tried to differentiate my feelings about tornadoes, in this image.
The title of this image.. is also the title theme song, for the movie "Twister"
A fantasic gentle instrumental ballad... so no lyrics or poems this time..
A legendary guitar player, who is also my personal guitar hero of all times...
Wrote it, and perform it with his band....

I find the guitar playing in the composition truely amazing...
Because it catch the spirit, of storms and tornadoes..
The dynamics, the pitches, the differences, the sensitivity, the wildness, the spontaneousness, the quickness.. and many other emotions.

well Lars, I've just come back after 2 months, and I go alphabetically—no preferences (and I take no bribes) (well, a few, lol) so I'm just getting to the "L"s. I'm catching representative samples from when I was gone, but know that I've viewed everything as it went up, I just wish I could've sent comments by telepathy because I wasn't able to comment at the time, and I enjoyed every piece you've done. This struck me right off, because I live in the midwest, and yes, we get tornadoes. They don't usually get into the city, but I've seen them in the outskirts. And while they are terrors, they are stunning & beautiful. (They also can be very muddy, and not have much definition.) Also, the skies turn pea-green in thunderstorms, and when you're out at 2 pm and the sky turns the color of an ugly swamp, you get the message that nature is nothing to mess with. The world goes still, you can hear a pin drop, the wind dies dead, and then: BANG! Hell drops out of the sky! When it's over, the world is fresh, running with water, and you feel reborn. Just a little background...now to your image: it's just sumptuous. I mean, you have the tornado, but there's so much luminous light here, it radiates. The tornadoes are either bright light or invaded by bright light (the left one, for example). The tornadoes themselves have the feel of deep ink billowing in water—they're beautiful. You have these beautiful flowers flying around, as if to suggest that the tornado gods & goddesses bring new life in the wake of their destruction (the chain of flowers is beautiful, and you have subtle vines coming out of them),. And the source of lightning from the man's hands is beautiful & done very sensuously with a bright sky above, kind of like the eye of a hurricane—which is also sumptuous, beautiful and calm). A big beautiful vision, it has your invariable roses, and it's opulent for all its terror. And it reminds me all over again what makes your gallery such an opulent affair. A beautiful piece all around, truly.

Mother Nature letting us know shes still boss and can kick our butts anytime she wishes...the power in wind, water and her other seemingly endless minions are always ready at her beckon call!! Super job on this I love it!!
