Description

This is a dual promo image, meant to show off my latest marketplace model (the Wishing Tree), as well as to promote the new novel that inspired the tree, "The Girl on the Dock" (The cover for that book is also shown here in my gallery. Yes indeed, we are talking shameless self promotion, my friends. Still, I very much like this work, even on its own. The poses for the characters were rather difficult to achieve, considering the nuances involved, and the fact that they are based on established characters from the story. The Wishing Tree itself, however, was quite the immense challenge, thus the fact that I decided to go ahead and release it in the marketplace. I look very forward to hearing all of your thoughts! Fantastic composition and atmosphere. Great characters. The effect of something of magical origin coming from the hand of the woman is perfect. Excellent.
