Description

This was my entry for the Royo challenge at DSA. I haven't been around lately,so I thought I would upload and tell you why. I have had a few health issues and I tragically lost my precious Japanese Chin dog, Rupert,on the 5th April. I am really devastated and haven't had the heart to do anything since. I'm sorry I haven't been to visit your galleries either:-( I might not be around for a while, my muse has definitely left me:-( I've got a few images I made earlier so I might upload them until I get my MoJo back. Please don't forget me while I'm gone:-) Luv Ya all!!!! Sylvia

Amicalement ! Claude My wife and I let us love the animals. Today we have two cats, sisters of the same range. When I knew my wife she loved tremendously the dogs, and me, a wildcat had helped me to survive in rather hard conditions on the border of the Sahara. We always had dogs and cats of the dogs left by their owners. But the dogs have a shorter life than that of cats. Each time a dog disappeared, they claimed to be more animals then they began again having animals! troubles are heavy and be sure that you will never forget this animal! Amicably! Claude

I'm so sorry to hear about all the things that have happened in your life Sylvia - and I definitely wish you, that your life turns around. Especially where your health is concerned. Don't worry about your muse, she'll be back when the time is right :) Very beautiful scene my friend! I hope to see you again soon.

I'm very familiar with the Royo print......and...I hesitate a bit to say this, but I really like yours better!! The Royo is rather dark, nothing wrong with that mind you, but your scene is so much more vivid. I'm sorry to hear about your recent loss, my dog had passed away a long long time ago......but she was one of my best friends!!!, not just a dog. I will always treasure the time I was gifted with her, and never forget the unconditional love she shared. I hope that you feel better soon, but also understand that it will happen as you see fit. Take good care M'lady, I don't think anyone who's ever viewed your works, or read the comments you wrote to support the art, can ever forget you!!

Nicely done image Syl! I've been wondering where you've been, hate to hear more unfortunate news from your homefront. Seems the rain is still coming down on you and your family. Hopefully things will be better for you soon.

My goodness Sylvia you have lost more furry friends in this last year than I have in a lifetime. I am so sincerely sorry to here of these continued losses. Your work is, as always, simply superlative. The viewing angle is dramatic, the expression powerful and the lighting devine.

brilliant image excellent pose and expression, and as for the POV it is top notch, great render. Sorry to hear the loss of a loved pet, but more important is your health make sure you look after that first, cos you have only one body so you must do everything you can to hold on to it.
