Description

This dedication is for Ines (mininessie) who is one of the kindest and most gentle ladies in the gallery. She is a dear friend and her gallery is a perfect example of her kind and caring nature. Ines is multi talented and her gallery contains photos, paintings, digital art along with her own creations. It is a great place to visit and I feel safe letting my youngest niece Aschlynn look at it. Ines asked if I would bring a special memory to life for her and told me not to worry about sharing it. After hearing her story I was moved and wanted to be sure and share it with my friends. Mighty Mouse (For Mininessie): When Ines was a very little girl her family lived in the country in a very large house. She loved her Grandfather so much and was very close to him. One day he came home and found Ines outside playing. He nealt down beside her and placed his hand upon the ground. When he moved it Ines saw a little toy mouse with wheels beneath it. She stared at amazement at the precious new toy as he gently placed a string in her hand so she could pull it. Their cat stared on in shock as Ines began to pull her little mouse all around. While this may sound like a simple memory to some it is one of her first and most happy memories that she still cherishes to this day. I just wanted a chance to bring it to life for my dear friend and I am grateful she allowed me to do it. Thanks, Dave

State of the art work on this childhood memory, Dave. Really love the expression on her face... The kind of excitement and enthusiasm only children can express. Love GrandPa, too... he really looks like a GrandPa.. cool character. And last but not least...the cat's expression is a pearl. #:o) Wonderful illustration of Nessie's childhood memory. A fine dedication and story. But the story also has another good point... If you want to see that kind of excitement and enthusiasm. on a child's face in 2009.. You at least, need to buy them a Television, a motorcycle or a computer. #;oD

Well mine was manging to climb up to our house's front door bell button and make the bell ring - over and over and over again. Much to my mother's constrenation. My niece Becky had a pull toy like a mouse when she was that age too. My sister also had a cat (well two cats, purr and magic). Neither of them appreciated the ruccous created while this toddler (monster in kitty speak) rather joyfully (mockingly in kitty speak - no one else may have a good time except kitty) towed the mechanical mouse around the apartment. Why didn't mommy get something more practical, like a real mouse. That would make kitty happy.
