Description
The reclaimed curse
He does not need Death at his side to be brave.
He is Ahktur and he fought the swamp king and won,
he survived the pits of the giant snakes,
he out smarted and outfought the immortals,
he has slain the mighty Soulkeeper.
No'! he needed not the assistance of Death
to have overcome and survived this long
and treacherous path.
Yet it was his need to restore his pride
by reclaiming the curse bestowed upon bone axe.
His only trusted friend known as Death.
This was what have brought him here,
to this place of bad dreams!
He was born, known as "the special one"
he was brave and had fought many hunters
and scavengers alike, -long before death became his curse.
He escaped the "great send off" at the cliffs of no end…
Not once but twice.
The first time when he was believed
to have been a stillborn spirit,
and the second time was when he had
broken the sacred oath of the tribes.
-“No brave may lay claim to woman from another tribe this was the third law passed by the great elders”-.
‘She who speaks with the dead’
have warned that casting the “special one”
over the endless cliffs would bring a far worse
curse than the curse of death to the tribe of leopards.
“He should be banished forever from our lands”, she said.
“And he should take the cursed axe with him,
and it will sow seeds of great misfortune and
that of many deaths onto his path.
As it did to our tribe for many long seasons.
He will wander a trail of loneliness and hardship.
Yet no one! should think pity for his spirit.
He must be banished forever, forever, forever!
But do not forget his name “Ahktur” the special one.
As it is written in the in the clouds…
That he who has the walk of a brave hunter and the spirit of the great white leopard.
Will one day come to rule all the tribes”
His curse is a heavy burden to carry,
yet Ahktur’s curse made him whole.
Without death by his side he felt weak and lost.
Now that he has been reunited with death.
He can return to the wretched witch Mardorra,
and her dogs from the grave.
He still has an unsettled acquaintance to settle,
and this time he will end the immortals blasphemous existence,
And since the old hag’s life is what holds the key to their reanimation?
If she dies!? they die!
Aaaaeei..aaaeei..aaaaaaaeei!
His voice runs down the hills and echo’s far along into the valley below.
He's letting all know that he is Ahktur! the king of this no mans land.
