Continued from S3-3-2: Andromida "'Romi" Feraer (Portrait). Brytag crashed through the twisted foliage of knurled trees, giant ferns and thorny bushes at break-neck speed. She could hear him closing on her, moving with surprising easy considering his bulky frame, through the forest that seemed to willfully impede her in every way it could. Why had she come to this loathsome place? She had been warned that no sane man enters the forest of Troos if he could avoid it, and yet she had… intentionally! But now she regretted her arrogance and greed, as, she was sure, had those that came with her… just before they died! She looked over her shoulder to try and catch sight of her beastly pursuer, even though she knew it was a mistake to take her eyes off her path, and caught her foot on a gnarled root. Stumbling forward, she lost her footing and crashed to the mucky ground. Dazed from the impact, which had knocked the breath out of her, she rolled onto her back only to find him looming over her with his spear leveled at her throat, and, worse yet, she had lost her grip on both her sword and bow in the fall. Durg leered down at her menacingly, his wide, squat form thick with muscles and covered in fine hair that could almost be called a pelt, while his beady eyes roamed across her leather clad, shapely form, exotically alluring features and flame red hair. Even a degenerate, ill evolved beast of a man such as he, could recognize her stunning beauty. “You run no more!” he announced in a guttural voice, punctuating his statement with a mock thrust of his spear toward her throat. “You belong to Durg now!” She scanned the ground around her, catching sight of her sword, well out of reach to her left, and her bow, no closer on her right. Her demon enhanced tempered leather armor would give her some advantage, but with only the knife sheathed at her left thigh, and the tip of his spear literally at her throat, there was little chance of surviving a fight… But dieing here and now might just be better then what this wretched half-man-half-beast had in mind for her! The leader of a pack of Orgen hunters, little more then barely human wolves, Durg and his kind are the poorly evolved, degenerate decedents of neanderthalic prehumans tainted by the blood of the Doomed Folk. As twisted and foul as their forest home, they somehow survive where no other animal can, stalking those foolish few who dare to enter Troos for food and pleasure. Durg’s pack hunted down Brytag’s companions, savagely feasting on them, while he pursued her alone. But his horrid intentions lead to his death when Blade, Rynard Adae and Daeron Syn intervened.
