found this while archiving and thought I would share it.
I learned yesterday that my full brother is in the hospital and very grave.he is 69 or 70 years old. he wants no funeral and is going to be cremated.his son will follow his wishes.I am not going there in Kansas because he would not know I was there.we never was close even when we were young

As the light dims, I'd only suggest funerals are for the living, not the dead. But everyone's circumstance is different, and needs to be respected....

Very interesting sky, Richard. I never made it to any of the family funerals, either. Figure that's a ritual for those who are there, and we must get our affairs in order before then. Enjoy those sunsets, too, so if they get stolen on a hard drive, you still have them, in your memories.

I am sorry about your brother but maybe more saddened that you two were never that close. This should be a time to be together if it is at all possible. My best wishes to you and to him. This sky seems to be reflective of that mood and very mysterious. Great sky shot.
