Description

Ultra Fractal 5.01 (10 layers excluding the initials and year). The progress of modern societies is built on access to past achievements as recorded in writing and so made recoverable. I confess, the word "scribe" is pushed to its limits when used in relation to tales, or dreams, but the usage does gain some authority in one of the definitions provided by the OED: "7. a. Used (more or less playfully) for: One who writes or is in the habit of writing; an author; the writer (of a letter, etc.). " Mostly, of course, I'm trying to highlight the representation of weave and pen pictorially, and possibly the use of liquid as a means of recording by way of ink etc. Whether all this helps your appreciation of the picture is another matter. Pictures best "talk" for themselves. Afraid I couldn't post anything yesterday, as my ISP had me offline due to a technical fault. Cliff.
