AloooooooHa~ A few weeks back I shot an Amakihi (honey creeper) on this same flower. The flower was in much better shape then. This is a Mejiro (Japanese white eye). Both birds are about the same size, but the white ring around the eyes and the shorter beak distinguish the the Mejiro from the Amakihi. This little guy is about half the size of a common sparrow and twice as fast. They rarely linger in plain sight like this, but the flower was too much for this guy to resist. Thanks for having a look and I hope you are all having great weather....been raining for the past couple days and it sooooooo sucks! Aloha~
