I think I am right with the ID of this one, the Clipper. Taken on our trip to The Butterfly Farm at Stratford-upon-Avon, Saturday 18/04/09 Passed thgrough a high pass filter to sharpen it up and resized for upload. What a totally wonderful shot! the eyes are great and there is such lovely patterns on the wings. It must have been so relaxing to walk around and see these lovely creatures everywhere.

Hi Jeff "Avon" brings a memory but a different place where skiers go not campers short story short could not afford the place and we were so hungry that the road I was taking turned right into a Restaurant had to make a sharper curve to stay on the road and a van did the samething lol wonderful work warm hug, Linda

This is a beautiful shot! I think it is slightly overexposed. If you darken it just a bit, it might bring out the color. This is one of my favorite butterflies!
