Description

Ultrafractal 4.04 At long last, something worth showing....I think! lol Another IFS Barnsley+jock III composition. I'm sorta jazzed about this one as it's the closest I've been able to come to the awesome stUF Joe Presley creates ("joefraq" here at Rendo) and some of Jock Cooper's (jockc) early works with this formula that have always interested me. It gets its title from a book by Ayn Rand that I started to read but never finished. I think it was some sort of pro-capitalism/business story. Anyhow, the vibe I got was of a bustling seaport and so the name stuck. BTW - the MOCA gallery was awesome. Nicer than the pix at the website, the art was bigger, and the show was much more heavily attended than I'd expected. Don Archer is a real gem of a guy and I even met some NYC fractallists and art biz/critique types. And the big apple was, as I'd remembered, absolutely ELECTRIC! Love that town. Thanks for stopping by, y'all - c-ya! Rick -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***(Fine art giclee' prints of most of my work are available in limited edition on archival paper or canvas - e-mail: drahcir3@hotmail.com and get busy filling that empty spot on the wall! Unique, "one-of-a-kind" (edition size = 1) prints and embellished prints are also available*** :-) ***This image is solely the copyright of Richard B. Quite mesmerising, though it took me a moment or two to link into the title - and then to think beyond it! Good pictures are bigger than words. The eye functioned before language was born and now language ties our thoughts - a needful blessing and a sometimes limitation!

Excellent composition. Take time to read that book. It is very good. Maybe you should start off with her book "Fountainhead" first.
