Description

Hi Guys. Thanks for the comments and views of the WIP. Nearing completion now. I've done opacity textures of mouth, eyebrows and eyelashyish thing for the face. Still undecided about lettering on the body panelling though. And joint constraints need to be sorted. Modelled in Amapi D7 and Carrara 7P. Thanks for looking and good luck with your latest projects. Z

Actually, this is a very believable automatron - human enough for us to feel attachment too, yet not so human that we abhor it. It is roboticist Masahiro Mori's "Uncanny Valley" - a line which if crossed will be the end of the robot of that type.
