Description

Gouda is a small city between Amsterdam and Rotterdam. It has a long history and some of that is kept alive through this harbour. It is meant for historical vessels only. BTW: I don't know what the orange dot on the boat is..

Very nice photo. I believe that the orange dot is a bumper to be used to provide cushion if another boat should tie up along side of her. The bumper would be lashed up to a mast or anchor post and put over the side so the boats would not rub against each other if another boat in passing should cause a wake.
