2354 BBY Coruscant - Lower City Mega Block 002115 - Metro Block 2252 Vala' turned as she heard the noise growing closer; she could feel the presence of the Jedi approaching her. After three weeks tracking him across twelve systems, she finally caught up with him in the Republic's jewel, their capital and home and den of the Jedi Order. Vala' felt the power flowing through her, as if the Force was a swirling storm that was collecting itself upon these two. She turned, the familiar snap hiss of her saber ignited as she slowly opened her other hand, and as if a breeze was forming under her she could feel her robes swaying at her feet. She felt strong, the death of the Jedi's Padawan at her hands she felt had angered the Jedi. Caused him to grip onto what he couldn't, what they couldn't. Their frustration, their fear, all of the animal instincts that made her powerful; even in her Masters eyes; those feelings would cause this poor Jedi to fall, become weak and she would have her chance. "Your trial begins my young Apprentice." She could feel him speaking to her, as if it was a dragon breathing fire into her chest . She slowly nodded as she saw a faint green glow forming in the distance, "Yes my Master." Vala' stood for a moment, her heart racing, her nerves on end, the tickling of her bangs and hair against her skin giving her goose bumps. Her hand gripped the newly made saber tightly, the new leather straps felt solid, its casing felt cold, she wondered if she could feel a sense of heat from the blade, or if her nerves were fooling her. "Gain control." She whispered to herself. The green glow became a little brighter; the footsteps grew a little clearer ... The dragon spoke inside of her, "Finish him ... And your first Trial is complete." Vala' lowered her head, her eyes focused ... "It shall be done my Master." ----------------------------------------- Hi all! :) So I've been away from my art for some time, and now I'm back at it. And I am stoked! I've found a muse recently in an odd place, an upcoming MMORPG game called "Star Wars: The Old Republic" .... I'm just having a lot of fun creating my own characters that I might make in that game, and I'm working on some writing and animations as well.
