Description
FINALLY...
I was up untit about 1:30 AM Seattle time because I wanted to get this finished. I overhauled the drive unit (original was too large and didn't seem to 'fit' the design I was working on).
background is from Lunar Cell, Scouts and world ship are a kitbash combo of DOGA L3 parts, my custom parts, and datakit parts from Starbase C3. Textures are mine and some from SC3 as well.

I love it. The ship is a very nice example of "hard" sci-fi styling. Kind of looks like a descendent of the Discovery from 2001. I'll have to check out this Starbase C3 and raid it for parts.

That is one heck of a lot of modeling! I like this ship. It reminds me of the opening scene in the movie "Spaceballs" with the impossibly large ship. Very nice work.

I was thinking about 5 Km... Thx for all the comments. Hopefully, I'll get back to rendering soon. With the nice weather, I've been out planting mowing, doing outside remodeling, working on the Honda and Jeep...
