Nice shot, Kathleen. I like the 'blue mood'. It is quite cheerful and not at all depressing. I have seen some blue coloured flowers, but they were simply soaking up coloured water, which was a bit of a cheek. When I was about 11 or 12 years old, I always liked the THREE MUSKETEERS author, Alexandre Dumas. He wrote an historical novel, which I think I picked up in the New American Library version, in the local WOOLWORTHS store, called THE BLACK TULIP / La Tulipe Noire, which was set in Amsterdam. Now one can get { at least in the Washington DC of TV's NCIS programme) black roses etc. That seems to defeat the purpose. Colouring them by light, or playing about in PHOTOSHOP is much more fun, and probably much less expensive, and definitely less invasive .. ;o) Warm regards from an excessively windy and wet Glasgow. There is an old weather related saying that one should not 'Cast a cloot till may's oot'. In other words leave on your winter clothing till the first of June. Mind you I do remember snow in the first week of June, back in about 1983 or 1984, just before the local Lanark 'Lanimer Day' celebrations... ;O) See you, John.
