The dwarf: an analysis. A proud and sturdy warrior the dwarf loves a good fight and loves a good beer. (usually at the same time) His trust is not easy to win but once gained he is a steadfast and loyal friend. Somewhat thick skinned he is difficult to insult but once offended he takes a long time to forgive. Often among the first to commit his ax (or hammer) to the quest. He brings a jovial spirit to the group, regularly trading barbs with his comrades (most often with the elf) At heart the dwarf is a craftsman with a love of building with stone and metal. He is most at home beneath the earth where he mines the precious metals and jewels. But what he values above all are his friends and family and the dwarf looks forward to returning home after the quest and to see the whiskered face of his beloved wife.
