Description

Although shoulder to shoulder, udderly content, but moo over anyway. Captured 9/3/08, very early in the morning, at a dairy about 1.8 miles/2.9 kilometers from my hectic haunt. Lynell likes animals of the bovine genre, so I thought I'd slip in a few here for a morale boost. Since I had some pics of cows, doing nothing but just sitting within my voluminous files, why not give the milk producers some exposure. Right on! The sun was at my back and bright on the horizon at that time, in fact, much too bright, and it really overwhelmed the images, so extensive Photoshop to the rescue on this group of fotos, which were taken through a chain link fence, and, admittedly, not the best photo stuff I've ever done. The dairy hadn't opened yet so I don't know if there was a sneak factor involved in this venture or not. A ZOOM is highly recommended and should infinitely improve your viewing. Thankx for the peek, and have a scintillating Sunday.

Wow, look at all that cleavage! I see most of them are ignoring you, since you didn't bring them any food...it does look like the sun was bright, but still nice shots, Harry!

All right Harry...and I thought I had a monopoly on rear end shots today with my lone robin. You've outdone me times ten:-) Tough lighting conditions but who can ever turn down a herd of cows? Looking good.

LOL at Denise's comment... awww Harry this is so cute and sweet of you to think of me. And I have to tell you that I had said I was heading out of town, needed to get away from it all for a couple days and said I would look for an old Chevy for you, well I wasn't on the interstate long at all when this truck with a trailer goes passing by me and whats on the back the prettiest old Chevy you could ask for it sure made me smile, unfortunately I didn't get a picture of that one but I did get one, will post it very soon. XO thanks my friend.

I have to say, the post-work you had to do actually gave it a nice intense quality, almost like seeing it through grainy film: It seems real yet super-real, almost a strange dream. And you have your montage 'journey' again, moving to fewer cows each shot, and ending with a few cows nosing—what?—a big rock? It looks like a cow either sleeping or passed on, or else playing dead (!). Whatever it is, it's a great way to end the sequence, since the other cows are just nosing around like it's just another curiosity in their day. And you got this through a chain-fence? Amazing we don't see the shadows anywhere. Another fine & fun montage from you.
