I am a keen animal lover so most of my art does include animals. I was always to be found sketching or painting animals from a very young age, and so after work then marriage, and raising 3 children, then breeding and showing dogs in the UK and Europe plus my animal photography, I got back into art again but this time digitally.
Digital art for me began with photography, my son Steve Pinchbeck (predatron) loved it and introduced me to Renderosity, and in fact joined me16years ago (now2020). Gradually I moved into mixed medium, and photo-manipulation and eventually digital fine-art. I use Adobe PS CS4 extended, and hand paint using Wacom Intuos Pro tablet & pen.
I love realistic art and strive to achieve this when painting, because of this I use photos of animals when I paint, for reference. Many of my own photos are of cats and especially of dogs. I often visited zoos too for the wild animal photography, but also have a few cat and dog breeder friends who allow me to photograph their treasured animals. Many thanks to some friends also who are amazing photographers who allow me to use their wonderful photos of wild animals for reference.
My art features in many household items and also artworks in my Redbubble store. https://www.redbubble.com/people/JaneEden/shop?asc=u
I do love it here and have made friends with some wonderful people and amazing artists.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery or my Renderosity store, I do so appreciate it.
I would like to thank everyone who has purchased products from me, I hope you are enjoying creating some wonderful art with them.
Best of wishes to everyone ! :D xx

the details here are splendid, Jane, and they all flow naturally into a complete work. The elfin creature blends in beautifully with the background, and is right at home with your cats (who are placed, as always, as if they were actually there in the tale). The bright light beneath them is woven seamlessly into the whole—you allowed the radiance to spill all over the grass, and it's very organic & not 'forced'. The light from above illuminates the scene beautifully, and the detail on the trees, et al, is very fine. And the cat in the tree trunk (forgive me, I don't remember which cat was which!) is placed with total ease, and looks exactly as a cat would in that position. You even have nice details at the bottom—rocks, maybe flowers (actually some look like opened easter eggs!) A total vision, very relaxed, and of course wholly enchanted. I'm so glad your grandson liked this. They're little gems, each image. Beautiful work as always.
