Description

The light here was so great, the top was lit by the sun, the rest was in shadow.

One of my favourite flowers is the pansy, I think its because we had so many of them in our garden when I was young living at home with mum. Excellent image Marylin. Bravo!!!!!

Topnotch clarity and very happy petal colors and textures adorn this fabulous macro, Marilyn! Stellar contrast against the dark background. And the white pansy at the top left looks like it's been nibbled on.

This is fantastic. As always, your color jumps out at me and that's a good thing. The light/shadow play is totally spot-on! I love this is so many different ways, but rather than rhapsodize forever, I'll keep my big ol' trap shut and just bask in the almost shimmering beauty of this. I will say, however, that I love the veins of color you've captured so sharply. This image is so alive!
