I remember doing that. Wish I had a yard to do it in now. Nice concept. Your terrain looks very good, nice use of grass and weeds. THe light on the tree looks a bit odd, like a spot light is on it, but in a way, it gives a magical aura to the image. Nice work.

Me too--don't get too many of those nights living here in Seattle unfortunately. I'd suggest moving the light source around to the moon, softening it and making it appear as the moon is the light source. Right now, it looks like three is a vehicle with it's high beams on approaching the kid laying on the ground. Really do like the concept of the redner!

I agree with the comments regarding the light on the boy and tree, but that was actually done on purpose in order to show some of the detail in the picture better. This scene is actually designed to be an animation that starts on the boy's face pulls out and ends in the position you see here. That's when the lighting will become more 'realistic' to the time .(Just an FYI. )

Hey! cool image. I think the light source works cool as a secondary light like from from dads and mom's car as they're getting out the tent or telescope kind of thing! This young man is just the first to enjoy the spot. I liked what the light brought to the image because of all the possibilities. Thanks, I enjoyed the image and thinking about the feeling of it!
