Description
This was a really lucky shot considering the sea swell! I was aboard the Enterprise III, on the beautiful river Fal, on the way to St. Mawes castle. This castle, along with the larger Pendennis castle, was built by Henry VIII as part of the defensive chain of fortresses to protect the south coast of this fair isle. He wasn't much of a husband, but damn! He built some beautiful castles!
As an aside, this part of the Cornish coast was used as the setting for the popular television series Poldark.
Thank you for taking the time to look. ^-^
