upfront, all your animal pieces have much dignity & beauty & visual sweep (and merging of forms too), so please know that if I only choose one or two now, it's not from lack of admiration for all of them. The photos are fine, absolutely; and what you tend to do with many of your animal montages is mass them so that they are both separate powerful creatures but also part of a continuum—a continuum made of their furs, their lines, their textures, their hefts, etc etc. This is no exception. It's a mound of cat-like presence & energy. And the choice of one who is baring his teeth is a terrific addition, showing not just power but just the strange & enticing counterpoint of its movement & form. The wood that both cradles & canopies them is perfectly chosen (texture & hue-wise), and the sky is an undulant background, seeming to parallel their passion. Typical of what I've seen of your animal work, several creatures in an interaction with themselves, no more in personality than in visuals; and an environment that flows with and for them. Really fine work all around Carol.
