Description
A little park in the middle of my home town that has a sign, "Union Park...1871". It isn't big but with three benches around a fountain, what else do you need for a quiet moment?
Got the idea of photographing this little gem from a poem and photo posted by Marilyn (beachzz) on the 27th of March by the title of "Pocket of Peace".

Wonderful, Bill. Dk has it right about Spring colors and long shadows. Also I notice how the blooming dogwood almost "echoes" the handsome white house.

Crisp, clear, colorful, a stellar DOF, and dig that picket fence and those terrific shadows in the foreground! Beachzz can sit in the shade on that nearby bench and recharge her batteries while she's gone.
