Hi there.
This one shows the Spring Generation of a Map (Araschnia levana) - I showed a Summer Generation Specimen in the past - look here if you like.
This little one I captured last weekend on a small meadow near my home. I do some more shots, one closer than the other, because I be afraid he will fly away. But this one was a good model I think. Shows his full beauty, let me take my shots and then take its way.
I dedicated this to my friend Joe (3x3) - a very special artist here on RR. Thank you for your kindness and support.

What a great photo with a fine level of detail. What I really like are the beveled type edges of the wing. Very interesting.
