Oh, my goodness! A DAZ Studio render by me that is real-world based! No, I haven't been kidnapped by aliens. ~_^
This render features the newest creation by BadKittyCo., and Shadownet. The Purrific Purse. It's available right here at Rendo.
I don't usually get excited about purses, not even in real life, but I gotta tell ya' this thing is way cool. It has morphs, morphs and more morphs. You can move the zippers, the strings, the strap, etc. It squishes, it wrinkles, it flops, it opens - you name it.
I haven't even gotten to the surface settings. It of course comes with fabulous textures and settings for Poser, but DAZ Studio users are in for a treat also. There are basic shaders for those just wanting something simple, but for those folks who have pwSurface 2 by Poseworks (DAZ) there is a whole set of textures set up to use that. They're awesome. That's what I used on the purse in my image.
What it comes down to is a whole lotta love and work went into this baby.
The rest of the image consists primarily of PC items from the Dream House collection (DAZ). The books and the grapes came from Faveral's wonderful Kelly Lodge (DAZ).
The lighting is ahEnvironmentLight Version 2.0 by Arthur Heinz (DAZ). I just used the basic IBL from the set and upped the AO to 128 samples. That's it.

Judging by the rest of your gallery, I'm thinking that there's a dragon or dark elf or alien warlord in there somewhere, maybe hiding in that handbag! The textures are very good and this is really detailed work. Nice one!

Even though I've seen it before, I just can't get over the realisam in this image. It's just amazing, and not just because of the materials and lighting, but the composition, the idylic almost collonial style livingroom is most believable! But, but, no kitty in the pic??? ;)
