Description

OMG another car! I tried something new with color this time. Some info on the scene, model is Squir's, there are 2 area lights in this scene and a lot of blurry reflections on the asphalt :) . Primary color correction done in After Effects. Full view for the 1080p version :) .

Sweet!! However, I can't help but feel there's something slightly off with the scale, making the car look very small. Perhaps the ground texture is too big? Too much DOF? On the other hand, if the car is supposed to be a model then it's spot on :) Either way, impressive render as always! /Anders

I wouldn't have thought that before, but I think you have a point. It almost looks like carpet...

Great model and Render, love it. But I have to agree with cartesius, it all feels like a miniature. I think the reason for that is the small distance between sharp and blur, you have the same effect with a real makro camera when you focus on objects close to the camera. Apart from that: Top Render. 5!

Thanks for all the great comments guys! You are right about the Depth of Field making the car look small. I did it specifically to make the Asphalt look really sharp and the highlights on the car interesting. I did some DOF calculations and this kind of depth of field is physically possible with a 50mm F1 Noctilux lens :) .
