I've been a member of Renderosity only a few weeks now, and I've noticed that none of the comments are ever critical. Since your post indicates you welcome critical comments, here's mine: I think its a very fine photograph, but I think it could be improved by shifting the composition to the right a little bit so the tree isn't dead-center, so the tree is on the left.

Agreed with those who care to look at the image critically. I might just add a general tip: The sky in a normal scene is bright by its nature, and the ground is normally darker (naturally)... here you have a problem - the sky is grey and the ground is bright yellow. What has happened is that the processing has turned the sky darker than the ground, and as a result the tree (because it cuts through the horizon) is two-toned and the image looks a bit un-natural. The top of the tree is dark and the bottom light (look at the shade of green on the leaves as a comparison). If you can get around that problem in the processing (and possibly try and work the "rule of thirds" to your advantage) then you will have a very nice photo which looks natural :)
