Description
Our daughter came for a visit so it was back into the Cypress Swamp. I just love what ever these things are. Could be fruit of some sort of "pine cone" thing. I just know that I liked the texture.

These do turn brown and hard with a more defined texture to the surface when mature and ready to fall. I have always found them fascinating. But I don't know that I've ever seen a picture of them when they were this green and young. I am thrilled with this and you really did a great job.
