Description

I had luck. I went for a walk and saw this slowworm (or blindworm ?) at the edge of the forest. He paused for some seconds and I could take two photos from a distance of 20 centimetres. (This is the better one.) Then he disappeared again in the grass.

Wow! I remember these from my childhood in the UK... never got to see one as close as this, though... Great image of this cute little guy (neither slow nor a worm, of course - maybe a 'wyrm', though!)
