well. i just received AWB last wednesday in the mail. today t is tuesday and i finished the first "serious" picture. short: i am a total newbie to AWB so comments and critiques are welcome. :)

the background are default tree-flipboards. they are a litle bit "pixelated" when you use it on short distance as i did. i blured them a little bit in postwork

You have picked it up very fast. I like the shadows and composition of this image, maybe the atmosphere is a bit too blueish, it seems like smoke to me.

Side from the bluish look, as Alfons pointed out, this is awesome work. The sparseness of the grass is very realistic. The whole structure of your landscape is perfect. Very well done image.

Nice image, especially for your first serious work. The "blue" look is a bit heavy, as Alfons said, it does look like smoke. I would tone that down, and add more plants/trees to the background, then you could use the haze filter to hide some background detail, rather than too much post process blur.
