Description

The only hunters left at Machu Picchu are the jaguars. Wanted to see if DAZ Studio could do a woodsy outdoor scene even vaguely close to what Carrara can do. The answer seems to be 'not really', but I do like this one-- even if it took 25 hours to render. That's a function of using LightDomePro with a bunch of LB's oak trees. Thanks as always for looking and commenting. A slightly higher-res version is available at my site, intothewhirlwind.com.

Lighting and shadowplay is very good! I always found it almost impossible to create somewhat realistic daylight with D|S. You did a great job at it!

I have to agree with Charlie (callad) about the D|S daylight, you did a remarkable job! But 25 hours to render seems like a lot of time for this picture. Nice work, though.
