Description

Still working on the fractals from the last two posts...some of the science experiments went all 'pear-shaped', as Chef Ramsay likes to say, and I had to start anew. I know these aren't fractals, but they are the baseshapes for the last two fractals I posted, and hopefully for the one I'll post tomorrow, (cross fingers). I just really liked them and wanted to share. Try full size so you can see some texture. Thanks for all your warm, fuzzy comments. They light up my day!

Oh, that depth thing I was bothering you about? Its happening here, actually . . . the background blue-ish layer recedes away and makes the foreground really "pop". Sorry i went on and on without noticing you were already doing it! Really effective sense of depth in a very abstract composition (eg with no cues from "real world seeing" about what's what size)
