Description
Still working on the fractals from the last two posts...some of the science experiments went all 'pear-shaped', as Chef Ramsay likes to say, and I had to start anew. I know these aren't fractals, but they are the baseshapes for the last two fractals I posted, and hopefully for the one I'll post tomorrow, (cross fingers). I just really liked them and wanted to share. Try full size so you can see some texture.

Oh, that depth thing I was bothering you about? Its happening here, actually . . . the background blue-ish layer recedes away and makes the foreground really "pop". Sorry i went on and on without noticing you were already doing it! Really effective sense of depth in a very abstract composition (eg with no cues from "real world seeing" about what's what size)
