I've been trying to shot one of these guys but unfortunately nothing to post yet. They're very antimated when you get close to their nest he must have been worning you off, LOL great shot and timing!!!!

I believe we are not meant to approach nesting plovers in the UK, this is a great shot.

Oh, this is neat! I just photographed one yesterday. They frequently pretend to have a broken wing to lure you away from their nest and that works very well!
