Description

Well here I'm at the 43rd annual Steam & Gas Engine Show in Pawnee, OK. In mud up to my knees and raining but I made it all day,I got lots of photos to show off. Now for the race this race is now about how fast you can go, but how slow you can go with out stoping, If the flywheel on side of the tractor stop turning you lose, the winner is the last one to finish the 35yr. race. Your + & - comments are welcome, have a nice day.

steam engines are so beautiful - great idea to 'race' them slow. it's very difficult to just keep them turning.

Excellent shot, particularly in the rain. Same activity takes place here in the summer but I've never visited the fair grounds at the right time. Will have to see when the steamers are going this summer.
