Description

Another shot from Nina's on Lopez. I saw this mushroom and immediately thought of Andrea. Once I got it home, I made sure I used some of her favorite filters on it ... Hope you like the subject and the digifiddle, my friend! :) .......... I sent a link to Nina, and she wrote back and said: "Hate to break it to you, though...the stone thing isn't a mushroom. It's actually a replica of something they found in the Cotswolds in England, whose use eludes me at the moment. They were actually large enough to sit on in real life." So there you have it ... further info on this extraordinary object! Oh btw ... it's not IN the glass jar, just sitting directly in front of it. .......... Okay, more information still! I told Andrea what Nina had said, and she immediately recognized this as a "staddle stone." If you want to know how they're used, click here

Why, thankyou, Tara! I love it! What an extraordinary image, it looks like one of those stone mushrooms folk put in their gardens, and in a JAR! How bizarre! Quite mysterious, but I see not so to Tunde! And the digifiddle is divine!
