Description

Well as fate would have it, I came a cross a tree frog about 4 hours after finding the Toad I showed in my last posting. About midnight, I took a flashlight and went out to my pond to check on the water level. We had Big storms late yesterday with more expected tonight. For the first time in over 5 years, I needed to open the overflow valve on my pond. After opening the valve and as I watched the water start pouring out of the pipe, I heard a tree frog very close by. It took just a second or two to locate him. I have never gotten a shot of this species before and other than a "Tree Frog", I don't really know what he is. Anyway, my friend should be as happy as can be now. She got her frog and a toad to boot, lol. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

Spectacular macro's Lee, I have just checked your finger prints and you are not on the USA most wanted list, nor the UK one come to that. Superb images fantastic clarity and detail, even using the flash they are not to harsh. Bravo!!!!!

WOW, you are really good...and fast too !!! These are perfect photos for my art classroom. Will be a great frog study and this little fella will be all painted up with brillant greens, blues and yellows. With any luck, a representation of him will be off to a contest next fall!
