Well, its not the sun, but as I turned up the light in Photoshop I thought of the Sun.

The definition is made by the ringflash, there is anohter shot I am working on that does an better job of this effect, It is a really nice aspect of the light when there is definition to be defined. Thank you so much.

Very beautiful work (and model) but in my opinion, the drop shadow doesn't help much in this case, doesn't look very natural. Maybe if shifted more to the left (her right) would look more natural and accurate with the highlight on her skin. other than than, I think you did a wonderful job!
