Description

Aiko missed a few appointments with me lately, because she's so busy with all her different activities as an entrepreneur (CEO of AMTS INC., Aiko's Diner etc). So I thought it might help to give her a wristwatch: The Carnet de Rendez-Vous. And indeed, it did help a lot!

The Carnet de Rendez-Vous was built in the 90's by Jaeger-LeCoultre. There were quite a lot of variants, with different materials and gemstones for body, face, strap etc, including a smaller version, called the Mini Carnet de Rendez-Vous. Price range at that time was approx. 1.300-36.500 €. The nice and handy feature about the Carnet de Rendez-Vous is, that the lady can rotate the upper part of the watch so that the diamond comes opposite to the time of her appointment in order to remind her. Or from the male point of view: the position of the diamond will tell her husband at what time she has a date with her lover ;-) My version of the Carnet de Rendez-Vous is a bit simplified and doesn't claim to be a 1:1 representation of the original shapes and proportions.
