I did this for the first graphics.com challenge. The challenge was to follow a photoshop tutorial to create a 40s style ad.

Thanks for your comments. Forgot to mention that the kid on the rocket was posed and lit in Daz Studio. I used the Retro Rocket, the young teen, Luke, Flattop hair and Stormguards, painstakingly fitted to the model. I used FilterForge to create the linework version of the image.

Oh darn, I thought that was you riding the rocket!Very cool work; it looks like it could have been scanned from an old pulp sci-fi magazine. I think this is the first time I have seen the Retro rocket used in a render.
