Description

They nest in Saguaro Cactii and land on top of them, but Cactus Wrens never seem to hurt their feet. A human or a dog, on the other hand, only has to walk within two miles of one to get speared. :-)

Beautiful! It also reminds me how chickadees land on branches of wild Alberta rose without ever getting nailed by the thorns while I just drive by and they attack me through the windows, ha ha!

I like bird photos and take a few. This is excellent. What did you do with the background or was it gone in dof? Any matter, no need to reply since this is such a fine presentation of a bird I did not know until now. Thanks for this one.
