Description

Hi there, friends and visitors. This little (Salticus scenicus) I found on a bench in our garden. She was fascinated by my lens I think. She was looking directly into the camera when I was trying to get a close-up shot. With a macro-lens there could be a better result, because of they are very small (about 5-7mm). Jumping Spiders don't weave webs - they are trying to jump on their prey. Hope you enjoy and had a nice weekend.

This is really good, considering your lens isn't a true macro, but the results speak for themselves- an excellent macro shot. After all, using the minimum focusing distance and gettting a result like this is quite remarkable! I am guessing that you had to get right in there with the subject to get this shot- that takes patience and practice. You have a way with camera angles, particularly wildlife, that connects the viewer- it is a rare talent, I believe.
