It makes me think of Michelangelo painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. This is truly a labor of love, I cannot imagine painting such works on ceilings, my arms would ache in two seconds!

thank you for these 2...it's so nice to see artists working, esp in the cloistered spaces of interiors like this. She appears to be painting traditional icons, though without seeing it in person I can't tell. She must be trained in this, since iconography like this is a specialty; and from the picture it looks like she's painting them vividly, as well. A wonderful record, as Garlor says, of art in action.
