Description

This is where I spent a few days last week, in the beautiful massif of the Bernese Alps, with Engstligenalp as my main destination, a high, closed, flat hanging valley overlooking Adelboden . Adelboden is a traditional mountain village with old wooden chalets, overhanging roofs and surrounded by spectacular 3000 metre peaks.

Thank you very much to all those, friends and visitors who commented on my last photo, called 'Medieval'. Have a nice mid-weekend and be happy!

Pour les Frenchies et amis! :voici mon lieu de villégiature pour quelques jours la semaine dernière, dans le superbe massif des Alpes Bernoises, en direction d'Engstligenalp pour destination, un plateau enneigé tout en hauteur et qui donne sur Adelboden. Adelboden, avec ses traditionnels chalets en bois et ses toits protégeant les balcons, est entouré par de fantastiques sommets de 3000 mètres.

Trying to find a word to describe this is next to impossible, so I'll just call it beautiful. The way you have captured the sunlight shining thru the clouds near the peaks of the snow-capped mountains is breathtaking.
